农民送子女上大学的经济分析：一个微观检验

通过问卷调查获取第一手数据,利用微观计量模型探索农民对子女大学教育的经济价值判断。从农户家庭信息和经济状况等维度识别出了显著影响农民对子女大学教育经济价值判断的变量,并计算了这些变量对农民子女大学教育的经济价值判断的边际效应。研究表明,子女的平均养老成本越低,农民的养老保障越大,从而没有动机送子女上大学;户主受教育水平越高,其对子女上大学的期望越高,越相信子女受过大学教育后能改变子女的生活环境和生活水平,因而越有动机送子女上大学。

Peasant's Judgment of the Value of University Education: A Micro Experiment

Using the data obtained through questionaire and the micro-measuring model,our project explores the peasant’s judgment of the value of undergraduate education.The article presents the host’s gender,age,educational level,political landscape and financial condition,etc,and recognizes the factors that affect the peasant’s judgment of the value of undergraduate education.Finally the marginal effect of these factors is calculated results show that the less the average elder care cost of children is,the higher elder care security of reasants is,and therefore,peasants have no mtivation to send their children to university;and that the highly educated parents believe that university education can help improve their children’s living circumstances and standard,and therefore the stronger their motiuation is to send their children to university.
