阿伦特通过分析人生命的三条件中最重要的复数性 ,指出以柏拉图为代表的西方传统哲学与政治存在对立。她力图通过“判断”来寻找哲学与政治调和的可能。但由于她仍持思想与行动、vitacontemplativa与vitaactiva截然两分的传统 ,所以 ,其判断理论仍存在内部张力。但阿伦特使我们看到 ,史学家、讲故事者、诗人通过他们的判断一方面使哲学家看到了特殊真理性的存在 ,另一方面 ,他们赋予人类行动以意义 ,且保存了对政治来说至关重要的特殊性和复数性

Through an analysis of pluralism, the most important of the three requirements of a human life, Arendt points out that traditional western philosophy represented by Plato is antagonistic to politics.She tries hard to seek a way to compromise philosophy and politics.As she sticks to the tradition of the dichotomy of vita contemplativa and vita activa, her theory of judgment still has internal strain.Yet Arendt shows us that on the one hand , through their judgment , historians, storytellers and poets enable philosophers to see the existence of special truth .On the other hand, they give meaning to human action, and reserve the particularity and pluralism which are of utmost importance to politicians.
