新时期新义衍生形成的多义词

The formation of new words and new meanings during the new epoch leads to the coexistence of derivation from old words and derivation from new words, which in turn forms two types of polysemy phenomena, namely, polysemy in the old words and polysemy in the new words. Disequilibrium occurs between the main patterns of derivation of new meanings, namely, extension and metaphor, representing some characteristics and patterns in the formation of new meanings during the new epoch. It is important to analyze this phenomenon on the basis of statistics, and furthermore to find out the causes for it.
