对中国现代哲学研究中"时代性"观念的反省

长期以来学界存在的以“时代性”为衡量中国哲学基本标准的理论立场,实根源于西方“现代性”理论的影响。此一理论立场确有其积极意义,但也容易得出在整体上否定中国哲学传统之现代价值的结论。这一主张隐含着以特定时期西方文化的民族性充任人类文化之时代性的理论内涵,轻忽乃至抹杀了非西方民族文化传统的超越性与继承性,并以将西方式现代性看作封闭而完备的价值系统为前提。为完成由主要关注“非西方文化如何彻底照搬西方”向更多地关注“如何集中多民族文化共同体的智慧以解决地球村的共同困限”这一“中心主题的置换”,必须摒弃机械地持守时代性之一维的僵硬思维模式,而从时代性与民族性两个维度对文化问题予以更完整的关照。

A Reflection on Concept of "Diachroneity" in Modern Chinese Philosophical Studies

Affected by the western notion of "modernity","diachroneity" has been for long a basic criterion to appraise Chinese philosophy in academia.Such a perspective,being positive on its own reason,is inclining to a negation of the modern value of the Chinese philosophical tradition as a whole.It implies a theoretical connotation that the nationality of the western culture in a certain time holds the position of the diachroneity for the whole human culture,only to neglect or obliterate the exceeding and succeeding characteristics of non-western cultural traditions,with a premise that the western modernity should be looked upon as a close and self-contained value system.In order to achieve "the replacement of central subject",that is,attention will be focused more on "how to muster wisdom of the multinational cultural community to ravel out the common problem of the earth-village" than on "how non-western cultures indiscriminately copy the western one",we must spurn the stark thinking mode that diachroneity is held by rote as the exclusive criterion,and concern more about cultural issues of two dimensions:diachroneity and nationality.
