On Effective Curriculum Leadership

The curriculum leadership is a kind of new management view which is different from the traditional management of curriculum. On the background of curriculum leadership, the management mode of traditional curriculum makes principals get into a difficult position. Therefore the conversion of headmaster role has already become the inevitable tendency. It is necessary for a principal to take the following measures: clarifying the notion of school running, making the development plan of the school, developing the organization in curriculum, enhancing teacher's group spirit in order to promote the development of the school-based curriculum and even the whole curriculum system of the school.
