| 摘 要： | 本文对“句”、“读”二字的意义进行了溯源，认为：今“句”义是由古“句（鉤）”派生出来的；通过对《辞源》所列与“句读”同义的词进行了分析，认为今“读”音义源于诵书时声气的稽止，实与“逗”相通，故又为“句投”、“句度”，因声气的稽止停留客观上造成了文章整体截断为部分，故“句读”又为“句断”、“句绝”。

| Abstract: | This article analyzed the etymon of ＂ju＂ and ＂dou＂ and thinked that the meanings of ＂ju＂ was derived from ＂gou＂ and ＂dou＂ was derived from from the cease of reading. It＇s means ＂dou＂. So,it also named ＂ju tou＂ or ＂ju dou＂;Aditional,the cease brought about the amputation of the whole article,So,it also named ＂ju duan＂ or ＂ju jue＂. |
