诗与真--关于卢梭自传作品的一种解析

以《忏悔录》为代表的卢梭的自传作品 ,被公认为现代自传文学的鼻祖。对这类作品 ,卢梭竭力强调它是完全真实的 ;自这类作品被介绍到中国以来 ,它的真实性也一直受到人们的信赖和赞扬。然而自传文学就其特性而言不可能达到完全的真实 ,这一根本问题也是从卢梭那里就开始出现了。本文从细节的分析入手 ,进而在重大环节上展开 ,揭示了卢梭自传中的“诗化”现象 ,并探究了它的个人与社会原因 ,从而也从一般意义上对自传文学的真实性的限度问题作了必要的讨论。

Poetry and Truth--An Analysis of the Autobiographic Writings by Rousseau

Rousseau's autobiographic writings represented by his "Confessions" have been widely acknowledged to be the originator of autobiographic writings. With regard to such writings, Rousseau emphasized the fact that they were completely true to facts. Ever since such writings were introduced into China, people have always had trust in them and paid tribute to their nature of truth. However, as far as its nature is concerned, autobiographic writings can never be completely true to facts, and this fundamental problem started with Rousseau. This paper starts with a detailed analysis, explores into the major plots and brings to light the phenomenon of poetization, and discusses the individual and social causes behind this. Furthermore, this paper makes a necessary and general discussion on the limits of truth in autobiographic writings.
