The Values of the Western Mainstream Economics

The argument about the standpoint of values goes along with the main western trend in the history of economics.We put forward the term of standpoint of values to cover this issue.Different viewpoints has their differences in nature,thus forming different types of standpoints of values.The analysis of their different types leads to the conclusion that the method used in natural science is not suitable for dealing with the issue of standpoint of values.Instead the subjectivity method originated by Vico showed be adopted.
