严绍璗的比较文学研究之路

严绍璗为北京大学古典文献专业出身,最后却走上了比较文学研究之路,担任北京大学比较文学与比较文化研究所所长。在三十多年的学术生涯中,他打通学科界限,在古典文献学、国际中国学/汉学、东亚文学与文化关系研究等领域都取得了卓越的成就。他遵循原典实证的方法论,把比较文学领域中传统的＂影响研究＂,提升为以＂变异体＂理论为核心的＂文学发生学研究＂,建构起体系性的比较文学学术理论。

PROFESSOR YAN SHAOTANG'S ROAD TO THE COMPARATIVE LITERATURE

Professor Yan Shaotang graduated from Beijing University and majored in Chinese Classical Bibliography,but finally he walked on the road of the comparative literature,and acted as the director of the institute of comparative literature and culture of Beijing University.In his thirty years＇ academic career,he has made great achievements in the Chinese classical bibliography,international sinology and the East Asian literature and culture studies breaking through the boundary of different subjects.Based on the empirical study of the classics,he heaved the traditional influential study of the comparative literature to the literary genealogy which focused around literary variant,thus he constructed the systematic theory of the comparative literature.
