On Deng Yanda's Theoretical Contribution to the Peasant Issue During the Great Revolution of China (1924-1927)

As a famous bourgeoir revolutionary and KMT leftist, Deng Yanda made important contribution to the theory of China's issue of Peasants. 1. He was one of the earliest to prove the importance of this issue in Chinese revolution. 2. He linked the peasants' demand for land liberation with the victoryoefoilure of Chinese revolution, thus fully confirming its important POsition. 3. He enthusiastically sang praise of the peasants' movement for overthrowing the feudalist rural regimes and for establishing their own revolutionary armed forces. 4. He held the opinion that the attitude toward the peasants' movement was the touch stone which could distinguish genuine revolutionizes from phoneyrevolutionaries,nonrevolutionaries and connterrevolutionaries.
