On the Great Contribution of Deng Xiaoping in Advancing the Opening Policy

The Opening policy was firstly advanced by Deng Deng Xiaoping who made great contribution to the establishment of this theory. Deng Xiaoping enriched and developed the opening thought of Marxism, and put forward the necessity of opening according to the national condition of China; consulted the history of Chinese development and made the opening policy a common understanding of Chinese people; analyzing the international situation and the world economic development, he made appointment that "the world is a opening world"; comparing China with the world, the history with the present, he drew an inference that China could not develop in isolation. Deng Xiaoping is the chief designer of Chinese reformation and opening policy: he created the "special economic zone", then established the "open economic region, and ultimately the all-round and many-sided opening pattern came into being.
