On the Diplomatic Work by the Southern Division of the Communist Party of China in Chongqing Area during the Anti-Japanese War

During the Anti-Japanese war,making use of the special role in the governed area by the Kuomintang(KMT),SDCPC strengthened the contact and communication with international world,as well as carried out extensively international united front activities and liaison work.During seven years of "semi-diplomatic" work and all-round non-governmental diplomatic activities,SDCPC rendered the CPC diplomatic work to be "global" to a certain extent,which became the basis of the CPC stepping out of Yan an to the world stage.With Zhou enlai and his(followers') hard work,they demonstrated to the world an image of a great democratic party and excellent diplomatic talents of CPC leaders.
