也谈“文学的终结”——兼与不同论者商榷

文学独领风骚时代确已成为历史,以图音为载体的“影像艺术”正在逐渐称霸,但文学永远不会终结。从长远来看,高科技所引发的媒介革命一定并只能使文学不断生发出各种崭新的形态,文学本身的内涵和外延都会随着时代的发展而不断丰富和延伸;同时即便是依托于纸质媒介的传统文学形态也会依然存在,并由于它本身独有的优势,难以想象它能够被新的文学形态完全取代。“文学将要终结”这一论断的原初以及它的不断演绎当有它特定的语境,并表达着论断者取自于独特视角的阐释和判断。如果离开具体的语境,一味的争论所谓“文学会不会终结”的问题是没有任何意义的。

The era that literature was leading the way has become history,and the "image art",using picture and sound as carriers,is becoming the domination,but literature will never ever come to an end.In the long run,the media revolution caused by hi-tech must and can only make literature constantly generate various new forms,and the intension and extension of literature itself will be enriched and extended with the development of the times;even though the form of traditional literature based on paper media can still exist,and because of its particular advantages,it's hard to imagine it can be totally taken place by a new literary form.The origin and the continuous deduction of the judgment "Literature is to be ended" should have its certain context and express the explanation and estimation derived from the special viewpoint.Without detailed context,it's meaningless to argue about the issue of "the ending of literature"
