综观王熙凤判词“一从二令三人木”解读史

二百余年来,关于《红楼梦》中王熙凤的判词“一从二令三人木”一语,众解纷纭,迄无定说。尤其是20世纪《石头记》脂抄本被发现后,因甲戌本上在此句下有一批语“拆字法”,所以人们在这个“钦定”的指示下,不停地提出“新解”。但因为越解越复杂,越解越离奇,所以也就与作者“原意”愈加疏远。笔者胪列47种成说,经过分析,指出它们的不通之处,同时对研究此句判词提出了三条原则:第一,要承认这句判词是让人一望即知的谜语结构;第二,这是凤姐的判词,不必无端引申;第三,作者“原意”已不可知,“新解”可以休矣。

A Survey on the Interpretations of the Verdict Verse on WANG Xi-feng''''s Fate

Everyone has his own interpretation on the sentence of "First she complies,then commands,then is dismissed" in the verdict verse on WANG Xi-feng' fate in A Dream of Red Mansions in the past more than 200 years.Up to now,there is still on final say of it.Especially,when the copied version was discovered in the 20th century,different person interprets this sentence constantly with new ideas under the principle of "taking the character apart" annotated in the jiashu version.However,the more interpretation,the more complex and the more absurd,therefore,the farther from the author's original meaning.This paper lists all the 54 interpretations of it and finds the difference among them after analyzing.Furthermore,it argues the following principles to interpret this sentence.First,we should acknowledge that this sentence is in a riddle structure,which can be found by the first sight.Second,it is the verdict verse on WANG Xi-feng's fate but not others,so there is no need to expand unreasonably.Third,the author's original meaning of it is unknown,so the interpretation of it can and should be stopped.
