| Abstract: | This paper attempts to make a comparative study of the United League and the Restoration Society in terms of their guiding principles.It is argued that while the two major Chinese bourgeois revolutionary groups both aimed to overthrow the dictatorship of the Qing Dynasty and establish a bourgeois regime they were widely divided in the Three Principles of the People,namely,nationalism,democracy,and people's livelihood. |
