论儒家文化对君主权力的制约

儒家文化始终是秦汉以后历代帝王修齐治平的主要指导思想。在儒家文化的强势影响下,社会各层面形成一种自主性和制度化因素,使君主专制具有了内在调节与制约机制,从而相对降低了君主权力中的随意性和非理性成分。儒生与君主之间的博弈、君主历史观、权力观的建立以及皇家儒学化教育等方面,都体现出儒家文化对君主权力的制约和影响。

Confucian Culture's Restriction on the Monarch Power

Confucian culture had always been emperors＇ main guiding ideology of ethical philosophy since the Qin and Han Dynasties. In the strong influence of Confucian culture,an autonomous and institutionalization factor formed in each social layer,which made autocratic monarchy own inherent regulation and restriction mechanism,so as to decrease the arbitrariness and non-rational elements in monarch power. Game playing between the Confucian scholar and monarch,the establishment of view of history and view of power of the monarch,and royal Confucian education,all reflect the restriction and influence of Confucianism on the power of the monarch.
