The incident of Yihetuan(anti-imperialist organization at the end of 19~(th) century) is historical,but also modern.In recent years,there has arisen a trend among western scholars in re-recognition of the Yihetuan incident,which influenced the discussion trend in the circle of Chinese scholars.Apart from the powerful channels,the media to link the historical and modern features of Yihetuan incident are approaches to allegorize history and to metaphorize stories.The story of Yihetuan proper is dramatic.It contains the whole process of classic tragedy and represented all details of tragedy.Natural disaster is the starting point for the rise of Yihetuan,the demonizing of western religion and western people are the motivation for the tragedy of Yihetuan tales.The reviving of terrorism forms the desperate end that Chinese peasants represented by Yihetuan classically fought against neoteric powers.The Yihetuan movement is also a referent of modern cultural concept.Its ultranationalism with rich local colors of North China has some influence on large scaled dramatic mass movement.
