Prospects and Strategies of Sino -French University Cooperation under the Commercialization Trends of International Education

With the accelerating process of the internationalization of higher education, the traditional coopera- tion model in which the developed countries provide education as ＂charity＂ to the developing countries is being outmoded. Today, developed country such as France attaches great importance to the international education market which has enormous potential. In this context, discussion and analysis of the needs, modes, prospects and the strategies of Sino - French university cooperation can be conducive to a healthy and sustainable development of Sino -French cooperation in higher education.
