社会阶层与公正世界信念对中国人网络暴力行为的影响

通过对经常使用互联网的网民的调查,探讨网民的主观社会阶层认定和公正世界信念对网络暴力行为的影响。发现主观阶层认定影响了网民对不同类别冲突事件的转发和点赞行为,并与人们对事态发展的关注度呈显著正相关;而网民的公正世界信念在主观阶层认同与对网络冲突事件的处理之间起调节作用：自我公正世界信念在主观社会阶层认同与贫富和城乡冲突事件引发的愤怒情绪、转发/点赞行为中起正向调节作用;一般公正世界信念在主观社会阶层认同与官民冲突事件引发的愤怒情绪中起负向调节作用。结果对预测网络世界中个体的行为有重要价值。

Social Status and Internet Violence: The Moderation Role of Belief in a Just World

In a survey of over 260 frequent internet users, participates are invited to judge the information of behaviors, and their reactions in dealing with three kinds of events about government and civil conflicts, the rich and the poor conflicts and urban and rural conflicts are recorded. This paper aims at the influencing factors of Internet violence in dealing with these conflicts, focusing on the factors such as social stratum and belief in a just world, and trying to reveal the principles of human behavior in the cyberspace.
The results of experiments and scales led to two conclusions. First, in the cyberspace, SSE affects the netizens'' "Praise" or "Forward" on conflict events, and is significantly positively related with the scores of SSE and netizens'' attentions on the development. That is, people with a high SSE have an increased motivation to detect their attitudes after conflict events. Second, belief in a just world has a protective function by providing an orderly, stable world for netizens especially. Their beliefs in a just world moderate the relationship between stratum identification and the handling of conflict events. To be specific, personal belief in a just world plays a positive role between SSE and the anger, "Praise" or "Forward" caused by the rich-and-poor conflicts and urban-and-rural conflicts while general belief in a just world plays a negative role between SSE and anger caused by government-and-civil conflicts. Netizens engaged in conflict events after arousal of SSE is especially relevant for people with a strong belief in a just world. In addition, the accurate belief detection is a matter of justice.
In line with those predictions and results, this paper reveals that participants with a high or lower SSE and belief in a just world have significant differences regarding the kinds of internet violence forms. The conclusion is of great value to our prediction of individual behavior in the cyberspace, which shows, both stratum identification and belief in a just world will influence people''s emotions and behaviors.
