近四十年来彭玉麟研究述评

彭玉麟与曾国藩、左宗棠、胡林翼并称清朝“中兴四大名臣”，有关他的文献整理和资料编撰自光绪年间起，主要是为整理其生前著述、官方修传和私家传记等，但在之后相当长的一段时期内，针对彭玉麟的学术研究一度陷入沉寂，直至改革开放后，才日趋活跃。进入21世纪以来，学界竞相鉴用新理论新方法，并开展跨领域研究，借以拓宽学术视野。这一时期的研究，成果明显激增，但也存在《彭玉麟集》增补录工作进展缓慢、彭玉麟与晚清水师关系研究不足等缺憾。

Review of the Research on Peng Yulin in the Past Forty Years

Peng Yulin, Zeng Guofan, Zuo Zongtang and Hu Linyi were collectively referred to as the “four famous officials of the revival of the Qing Dynasty”. The compilation of Peng Yulin’s works and materials began during the Guangxu period, mainly to organize his works，official biographies and private biographies. However, for a considerable period of time thereafter, academic research on Peng Yulin fell into silence and it was not until the reform and opening up that it became increasingly active. Since the beginning of this century, the academic community is competing to apply new theories and methods, and conducting interdisciplinary research to broaden academic horizons. During this period, the number of studies has significantly increased. However, there are also some issues that need to be addressed. For example, the progress of supplementary recording task of Selected Works of Peng Yulin is slow, and the research on the relationship between Peng Yulin and the late Qing navy is insufficient.
