A Critical Review of Gidden's View of Globalization

In his innovative approach to the issue of globalization, the British scholar Anthony Giddens has come up with a new concept known as "modernity globalization". By this, he means that globalization and modernity are closely correlated with each other. He considers globalization to be an extension of every modernity institution, which in turn results in a corresponding relationship between the different dimensions of modernity and those of globalization. Much to a regret, Giddens somewhat ignores the problem of imparity in the course of modernity globalization.
