词汇深度教学探讨

摘    要:人们对词汇量的过度迷信和疯狂追求使英语词汇教学很长时间仅仅停留在读音、拼写、词形变化、英汉对译等表面层次上.笔者认为词汇量不能等同于学习者的词汇能力,教师应加强学生词汇知识深度的学习.注重词语搭配能力、心理词汇习得、跨文化意识以及同义词辨析能力的培养.

Abstract:The exaggerated influence of vocabulary size on English achievement led to a long-time stay in some superficial levels,such as pronunciation,spelling and accidence in the lexical teaching.The author doesn't think vocabulary size is the equivalent to one's lexical competence,so teachers should strengthen the study of depth of lexical knowledge by emphasizing the cultivation of ability to collocate,acquisition of mental vocabulary,awareness of multi-cultures and ability to distinguish synonyms.
