评陆佃对王安石新法的态度

有人以为北宋大臣陆佃是王安石新法的反对者,其实不是。陆佃肯定青苗法的立法宗旨,崇敬宋神宗和王安石,只是对青苗法推行过程中的弊病提过意见。他参与编修《神宗实录》,能据实直书,不为当时政治形势所左右。他反对元祜、绍圣间统治集团内部无原则的党争,并能正确看待党争双方的是非,主张各派势力和衷共济,振兴国家。结果,陆佃的愿望未能实现,他本人也被眨逐而死。这是一场历史悲剧．可作后人戒鉴。

On the Attitude of Lu Dian towards the New Law of Wang Anshi

It is not the fact that Lu Dian, the minister of the Northern Song Dynasty, is thought to be the opposer of Wang Anshi's new law. Ln Dian approved the legislative purpose of Qing Miao law(the law about the agricultural loan), admired Song Shenzong and Wang Anshi, only raised different opinions on the practising process of Qing Miao law. He participated in the compiling "the true record of Shen Zong" and stated his views according to the facts, not to be controlled by the political situation. He objected to the inner struggle of government official, without principle in the period of Yuan You and Shao Sheng and distinguished properly between right and worng of the inner struggle, advocated that all the parties pull together in times of trouble to develop the country vigorously. However, Lu Dian's desires didn't come true in the end and he was exiled to die. It was historical traged which can be used for reference for the later generations.
