Analysis of the Reasons of Japan's shift of ODA Emphasis

Since the year of 2000, Japan has sharply reduced its official assistance to China while has shifted its ODA emphasis to India. Adjustment of its foreign policies serves as one of the most important reasons for the change of ODA policies. This shift may not bring significant impact on Chinas economical development. But it will have certain negative effect upon the future of Sino Japan relationship.
