| 摘 要： | 研究亨廷顿的民主巩固理论很有意义。他的民主理论包括:民主是竞争、选举和自由的统一;民主化是用在选举中产生的政府来取代那些不是通过这种方法产生的政府;民主化经过了三次浪潮。他的民主巩固理论包括:民主巩固的一个标准是民主政权的两次易手;要重视民主巩固,因为民主具有诸多积极作用,而在民主化中多次出现民主回潮;民主巩固的条件和措施很多。亨廷顿的民主巩固理论,引导了20世纪90年代西方政治民主研究的潮流,对民主巩固做了比较系统的阐述。这个理论也存在一些不足。

| Abstract: | It is very important to study Huntington's theory of democratic consolidation,which indicates: democracy is composed of competition,election and liberty;democratization means election-born government in replace of non-election-born government;and there happened three waves in democratization process.Huntington's theory of democratic consolidation contains that an important indicator is two peaceful changes of democratic government;that we should pay attention to democratic consolidation because democracy plays many position roles;that there happened democratic breakdown for several times;and that there are many conditions and measurements for democratic consolidation.Samuel Huntington has lead currents of the democratic research in western society during the last decade of the 20th century,and given us a comparatively systematic elaboration of democracy.However,there are still some defects in his theory. |
