历来左联研究的薄弱之处在于 ,将左联只是作为一种流派 ,而且是政治性的流派来对待 ,不注重左联首先是一个社团 ,而且是一个文学社团。左联作为文学社团是一个非常典型的研究对象。鲁迅等人都是将左联当作一个文学社团加以理解的。左联虽然是在政治力量的作用下组织起来的 ,但它的聚合过程充分体现了左翼文学家的自觉性。左联所有突出的创作倾向 ,如革命的罗曼蒂克 ,都是左联社团作用的结果。

On the Chinese Leftist Writers'''' League as a Literary Group

The weakness of previous studies on the Chinese Leftist Writers' League(CLWL) lies in taking CLWL only as a school, a political school, not as a group, a literary group. In fact, CLWL was a typical literary group. Lu Xun and others understood it as a literary group. Although CLWL was organized under political influence, it was also fully embodied with the consciousness of leftist writers. All the outstanding creative inclinations of CLWL, e.g. the Revolutionary Romantic, were the result of the influence of the CLWL.
