摘    要:《追求卓越》一书通过对具体案例与详细数据研究分析,揭示了新手教师成长为专家型教师过程中各种因素所起的不同作用,正是实践经验理论化和理论理解的实践化的互动,使得非专家教师得以超越自身的局限,在职业发展过程中不断追求卓越。《追求卓越》一书在问题意识、方法启示、研究过程等方面的突破与创新对当前的教师发展研究有诸多启示,对探索与研究有效的教师教育方式有很强的指导作用。

Abstract:According to analysis of the specific cases and detailed data research,the book,Understanding Expertise in Teaching: Case Studies of Second Language Teachers reveals different effects of various factors in the process of the growth of novice teachers for expert-teachers.It is the interaction between theorized practical experience and theoretical understanding of the practice allows non-expert teachers to go beyond their own limitations and in search of excllence constantly in the career development.This book's breakthrough and innovation in the fields of questions consciousness,enlightenment,research process,etc.has many implications for nowadays teacher development research and a strong directive function on the effective ways of teacher education's exploration and research.
