| Abstract: | According to the experimental research and the analysis of engineering fracture, certain problems on the collapse characteristics and engineering practice of loess foundation are discussed in the paper. Among them are the three main properties of collapse deformation, the relationship between compression and collapse, the collapse characteristics under the small wetting condition, the bearing capacity of pedestal pile and the problems of construction quality. |
