Mengchuang ci Changed the Style: the significance of the canonization of Wu Wen-ying's ci theory by the four masters in the late Qing Dynasty

The efforts of the canonization of Wu Wenying of the Southern Song Dynasty by the four masters of the late Qing Dynasty were the most prevalent phenomenon in the poetry field in the late Qing Dynasty.Wu Wenying was featured by his special writing style of ci poems so that he was cried up in the late Southern Dynasty but this was not the case in Yuan and Ming Dynasties.Mengchuang ci began to emerge in the middle Qing Dynasty and it was at its palmy days in the late Qing Dynasty.The four masters of the late Qing Dynasty collected and proofread the Mengcuang ci poems and probed into its significance and artistic value in order to change the traditional style of ci poems with its special characteristics.
