浅谈美国西部的水利建设及意义

美国水资源丰富,境内河流纵横,年降雨量充沛,在美国历史上,对美国的开发和建设提供了必要的水利资源。但同时,水资源在空间和时间的分布上存在极大的不均匀,尤其是在广阔的西部地区,给当地的开发带来了极大的障碍。美国政府在认识这些问题后,通过设立专门的机构,以及在政策、法规方面予以支持,积极投身水利建设,使西部的水利设施得到极大的改善,基本解决了经济开发和发展所遇到的水资源问题,使全美国境内得到均衡发展。

The United States is rich in water resources as it has many rivers and abundant rainfall,which contributed to the development of the country in history.However,the distribution of water resources was uneven,particularly in the vast central and western regions,which became an obstacle to local development.The United States government recognized the problem.It set up specialized institutions,issued related regulations and gave policy support to water conservancy.These efforts eventually improved the water conservancy infrastructure in the places and promoted the development of the country.
