从技术的本质到技术的价值

技术中性论与技术价值论之争缘于对技术本质的不同理解。技术工具论者片面地把技术理解为单纯的工具、手段,必然得出技术中性论的观点。技术决定论及社会建构论者从社会层面反思技术,得出技术负载价值这一结论也有其逻辑必然性。技术过程论把技术理解为过程的存在,在过程中实现了技术的自然属性与社会属性的统一,因此,成功地消解了技术中性论与技术价值论的矛盾。

From the Essence of Technology to the Value of Technology

The different understanding of technological essence is the ground of the discussing on whether technology is vale-neutral or value-laden. Some people consider that technology is tool and means. Based on the premise, they can get nothing but the viewpoint of technological value-neutral. Some people think of the technology from the social angle. So they consider that the technology is value-laden. But, the others consider that the technology is the existence of process .In the process, the natural attribute and the social attribute of technology are unified. So they clear up the conflict of the value-neutral and the value-laden.
