| 摘 要： | 福州船政学堂的创办开近代海防教育之先河.洋务派提出了"艺局为造就人才之地"和"船政根本在于学堂"的主张.福州船政学堂在教学模式上顺应了教育近代化的趋向,通过聘用外籍教师、派出留学生等形式培养了近代海防人才,并为提高艺科人才的地位涉及对传统科举制的改革.福州船政学堂为加强近代海防教育起到前驱先路的作用.

| Abstract: | The establishment of Foochow Shipbuilding Istitution was the first milestone of the education for modern coast denfence.The Yangwu Sect advocated the viewpoints of "institution is the cradle for personnels" and "institution is the foundation of shipbuilding".The Foochow Shipbuilding Institution adapted itself to the tendency of modern education in the teaching paradigm,and trained personnels for modern coast defence by employing foreign teachers and sending students abroad,ect.Some reforms were made to the traditional Imperial Examination in order to improve the status of the technolongical personnels.The Foochow Shipbuilding Institution was the pioneer in improving the modern coast defence education. |
