舆情研究与民意研究的差异性

舆情研究与民意研究的主要差别有三点，即前者在研究“社情民意”时，其研究对象更为宽泛；前者在研究“民众的社会政治态度”时，着重研究民众的社会政治心理活动，着眼于调查和分析普通民众与国家管理者之间利益关系的各种具体问题，显得更加专门化；前者与舆情信息工作直接和密切结合，形成了舆情信息工作的重要理论支撑。文章强调指出，舆情研究的许多新发展有其客观的社会背景，它丰富和壮大了对民众意愿尤其是民众政治意愿的调查和研究工作，与民意研究形成了相互促进和相互补充之势。

Difference Between the Study of Public Opinion and Sentiments and the Study of Pubilic Opinion

There are three main differences between the study of public opinion and sentiments and the study of public opinion ： the former has wide ramge of study target than the latter in resarching the social conditions and people＇s opinion and sentiments ; the former focuses on social political psychological activities in researehing people＇s political attitude, aiming at on those specific issues of the interest confilcts between the common people and the gorvenments, so is more speeialized than the latter; the former closely cooperates with provides theoretical support for the information work of the public opinion and sentiments. To emphasize the the study of public opinion and sentiments in the mainland of China has its own social background and is enriching the study on pubilc opinisn with the research work about the people＇s will, especially political will.
