| Abstract: | Li Dao-yuan named Fan-Chang,born in Fanyang(now in Zhuoxian of Hebei Province).Li Dao-yuan was a famous geographer and writer in North Dynasty.Since the year of "Shengui" of Xiaoming Emperor in Beiwei Dynasty,he started to write 40 volumes of THE NOTES OF SHUIJING,which has high value in geography and literary.It is the first of "the three important works in Bei Dynasty." Besides,he wrote some other works like BENZHI and QIPIN which were well known and popular at that time.However up to now,only THE NOTES OF SHUIJING exists,while others all disappeared. |
