浅谈旅游英语教学的探索与思考

随着我国对外开放的深入和中外交流的增多,尤其是世贸组织的加入和2008年北京奥运会的举办,旅游市场将进一步开放,本文根据旅游英语教学的情况,以提高学生旅游英语的应用能力、为涉外餐旅企业培养出优秀的实用性人才为目标,提出对教材利用、教学手段、教师素质、教学方法、能力考核等方面进行改革探索与思考。

Research and Thoughts on Tourism English Teaching

With the open policy deepened and Chinese-foreign communications increased,particularly the entry of WTO and the holding of Olympic Games in 2008,tourism markets will be open further.This paper puts forward some exploring reforms and thoughts which are good for using teaching materials,means of teaching,qualities of teachers,teaching methods,ability exams in order to prove the students' application ability of Tourism English,and to cultivate practical talents for catering and touring trades concerning foreign affairs.
