| 摘 要： | 文字是一个符号系统,而文字符号的本质是任意性、社会性、心理性和文化内涵。由文字符号将意象物化以及从物化意象还原本初意象都涉及到这个本质。鉴于民族文化间的差异,相同的客观事物在不同文化背景的人中所形成的主观意象是不同的。在翻译过程中,译者应尽可能弄清与历史典故、民族特色、宗教习俗等密切相关的语言现象,谨慎处理各种特定的文化意象。

| Abstract: | Language is a semiotic system in which arbitrariness, sociality,mental character and national culture are essential features. Either transformation from image into writing or vice versa, these essential features are unavoidably involved. Due to differ-ent national cultures, subjective images from the same objective things may vary among people with diverse cultural backgrounds. Therefore, in the process of translation, translators should endeavor to understand the language phenomenon related to historical al-lusions,national religion, customs and other characteristics, and cautiously deal with some particular cultural images. This paper emphatically probes into these problems that have a great influence on symbolization and the＆quot;translation＆quot;of it in literary context. |
