| Abstract: | This paper aims to do a general review of the vocabulary attrition research abroad.Much discussion here is devoted to the study of vocabulary attrition in that it has borne noticeable fruits of research. The article attempts to promote the development of vocabulary attrition research in China and provide a reference for vocabulary teaching,vocabulary maintenance and policy-making. |
