国外二语习得动机衰竭研究现状

动机衰竭（demotivation），是指学习者在学习过程中因受各种外界因素的影响，学习动机的逐步衰减甚至是完全丧失。动机衰竭现象在二语习得过程中非常普遍，但是语言习得领域对于动机衰竭的研究没有得到足够的重视，国内的动机衰竭研究也才刚刚起步。通过回顾国外二语习得领域动机衰竭的研究历史及成果，展望了其研究趋势。

A Review of the Research of Demotivation in SLA

Demotivation is defined as specific external forces that reduce or diminish the motivational basis of a behavioral intention or an ongoing action.Demotivation has become a commonly existing phenomenon in foreign language learners;however,not enough attention was paid to the research of demotivation in SLA,and the research in this field in China has just begun.This paper attempts to review the history and fruits of demotivation research in SLA abroad,and points out the new directions in future research.
