| 摘 要： | 妥善处理社会纠纷,是转型期社会管理创新的重要保障。人民调解作为中国特有的诉讼外纠纷解决制度有其独特的功能。随着2011年《中华人民共和国人民调解法》的正式实施,这一制度更是彰显出了其重要的法治价值。人民调解不仅有助于促进社会民主、增进社会和谐,还有助于构建良好而稳定的社会秩序。

| Abstract: | Properly handling social disputes is an important safeguard of social management innovation in transitional period. People＇s mediation, as Chinese specific alternative dispute resolution system, has its own unique features. After the 2011 ＂Peo ple＇s Mediation Law in People＇s Republic of China＂ was put into effect, this system embodies important value in the rule of law. People＇s mediation not only helps to promote social democracy and social harmony, hut also helps to build a good and stable so cial order. |
