Abstract: | The need for computing P-values for the Kuiper statistic has been emphasised by Batschelet (1981). Some exact P-values, with useful interpretations for making inference about a probability model for circular data, are provided. Computation of the exact values are based on Durbin (1973) boundary crossing probabilities. A numerical example is used to demonstrate the usefulness of the results. |
