符号学视域中的隐喻研究

在过去的三十多年中,国内外学术界掀起了隐喻研究的热潮,语言学家、哲学家、心理学家、计算机专家和其它相关领域的学者都纷纷从各种不同的角度对隐喻现象进行分析和探讨。这种多学科交叉研究格局的形成,一方面大大加深了人们对隐喻现象的认识和理解,但同时也带来了一些迫切需要思考的问题。其中之一,就是如何在一个统一的框架中审视不同研究方向上所取得的成果。本文将符号学作为一种元学科的分析视角,结合隐喻研究的历史变迁和发展现状,探讨在符号学的基本框架中把握当前隐喻研究的大体形态和趋势。

Metaphor Study in Semiotics

In the past three decades, there was a stirring of interest in metaphor study both at home and abroad. Experts from a wide range of disciplines such as linguistics, philosophy, psychology and computer science, have approached metaphor from different perspectives. The formation of this multidisciplinary research paradigm not only deepened the understandings of metaphorical phenomena, but also raised some urgent questions that needed to be solved. One of the questions was how to review the various research results within a unified framework. Taking semiotics as a meta-discipline analytic perspective, this paper explored the general research trend of current metaphor study within the framework of semiotics based on the historical evolution and development status of metaphor study.
