| Abstract: | Achievements and experiences obtained in agriculture since reform and opening up in China are reviewed, meanwhile, causes which have resulted in the backwardness of agriculture are also analyzed. It is introduced new conception of agriculture that agriculture can help to become rich, agricultural development can span stages and agriculture can be taken as leading. Furthermore, theoretical and practical issues of the new modernization taking agriculture as leading and integrating industrial economy with bio economy are discussed. |
