| 摘 要： | 美国银行业在很长的时期内以结构松散而著称。然而，随着经济的发展，特别是信息时代的到来，美国银行业的分行制和持股公司发展迅速，正在极大地改变着美国银行业的结构特征，单一银行的数目在极大地减少，而大银行的数目在增加。但由于传统的和政治体制的原因，在相当长的时期内，美国银行业仍将保持其独有的特点。
