Vietnamese Feudal Government's Policy Towards the Overseas Chinese from the Late 17th Century to the Mid-19th Century

The overseas Chinese migrated into Vietnam on a large scale from the late 17th century to the mid-19th century.Vietnamese feudal government took different policies at different ages.These policies were gradually particularized so as to have cases to invoke and laws to follow in managing the overseas Chinese.Its changes centered on its national interests,and were impacted by Sino-Vietnamese relations.
