The Development of Maslow' s Demand Theory to Historical materialism

The development of history is derived from the promotion of people ' s needs and social production mode.Marx thought that the class society basically remains unchanged due to the existence of the exploiting and the demand of the ruling class at a low level for a long time.So, the fundamental count measure lies in the liberation of productive forces that could expand supply of the material products which meet the survival.When productivity has a certain degree of development, the social mainstream demand becomes the drive power of social production mode and superstructure adjustments.There appear to be little relationship between Ma-rx' s theory of demand and its core analytical paradigm——productivity and production relations.The Social mainstream demand changes affect the social mode of production and superstructure .It will be helpful to China ' s future development and reform in the theory and policy to excavate Maslow' s demand theory of historical materialism meaning.
