应高度重视东南亚金融危机对我市外向型经济发展的影响

东南亚金融危机虽然未曾对我国“汇”“股”两市形成直接冲击但它对我国经济发展的负面影响正在不断显现。而就佛山市的外向型经济发展来说，则更是面临严峻挑战。东南亚金融危机使佛山市商品出口严重受阻，对外招商引资也变得难以把握。我们一定要对此予以高度重视，积极调整出口贸易的产业及其产品结构、地区结构，努力改善投资环境，拓展对外直接投资，逐步实现佛山市外向型经济发展模式的战略性转轨，最大限度地化解金融危机的负面影响

Great Importance Should Be Attached to the Impact of the Financial Crisis in Southeast Asia Against the Development of Export oriented Economy of Foshan

Although the financial crisis in Southeast Asia has not brought direct impact against the foreign exchange and the stock exchange markets in Foshan, its negative impact against the whole national economic development, especially to the export oriented economy in Foshan becomes more and more obvious. The financial crisis severely hinders Foshan's export and attracting foreign investment Some countermeasures should be taken to deal with such situations. We should readjust the structure of different areas, the structure of the industry and products of the export trade. We should also try to improve the investment situations, expand the foreign direct investment and gradually realise the strategic change of the developing model of the export oriented economy of Foshan.
