| 摘 要： | 《新青年》在现代白话文运动的兴起、发展乃至胜利的全过程中都产生了巨大的推动作用。它凭借自身的舆论传播力量,运用各种传播技巧,催生了现代白话文运动,并使之迅速扩大;它促进了白话文理论的讨论和建设,使现代白话文理论从笼统走向精细;它催生了中国最早的现代白话文作品,使之从幼稚逐渐走向成熟。《新青年》对现代白话文的宣传,在社会上产生了巨大影响,从而使现代白话文在短短几年时间之内,彻底取代了文言在书面语言中的正统地位。

| Abstract: | The Journal of New Youth played an important role in the rise, growth and victory of the vernacular movement in modern China. In the beginning, all the articles advocating vernacular Chinese appeared in New Youth. They brought forth the movement and accelerated it rapidly by propagating the ideas. New Youth promoted the discussion and construction of vernacular Chinese theory, leading it from general to systematic. Based on this theory, the earliest literary works in modern vernacular Chinese came into being and grew to maturity. As a result, modern vernacular Chinese was able to take the place of classic Chinese in a matter of only a few years. |
