对高校人文教育的再思考

摘    要:科学和人文的研究对象不同,科学研究“物性”,人文则研究“人性”;科学与人文的功用也不同,科学相当于一个“为学”的过程,人文则是一个“为道”的过程,因此,科学教育与人文教育二者不可偏废。高校人文教育的缺失将会导致大学培养出了“才”却丢失了“人”。为此,应积极营造和谐的人文教育氛围;运用人文特有的方法———反思和直观不断提高学生的人文认识,并进一步加强学生对中国传统文化的学习,从而不断完善高校的人文教育。

Abstract:Science and humanities have different objects to study.While science studies the "the essence of the nature",humanities study the "nature of human beings".Therefore,science and humanities have different functions.Science is meant to "explore the truth of the material world",while humanities aim to "cultivate the moral of human beings".We shouldn't stress one and neglect the other;both science and humanities education should be kept in balance.One negative effect brought by the inadequacy of humanities education in universities is that universities will cultivate many "intellectually talented" but "humanistically talentless" students.This article makes a further exploration on the ways of conducting humanities education in universities from the following three aspects: to create humanistic atmosphere in universities;to constantly raise the humanistic level of students by using special means such as reflection and direct sense perception;to strengthen the acquisition of traditional Chinese culture.
