| 摘 要： | 从系统功能语言学和认知语言学的衔接机制及认知方式入手，以转喻的理想化认知模型理论为基础，在语篇层面探讨非结构衔接中认知转喻所起的作用和功能，详细分析了认知转喻在指称、替代、省略、重复、同义、上下义等手段上的衔接性，从而证明非结构衔接方式的转喻性本质。

| Abstract: | From the perspectives of cohesive mechanism in systemic functional linguistics and cognitive mode in cognitive linguistics, the functions and effects of cognitive metonymy in the non-structural cohesion are studied based on the idealized cognitive model（ICM）, especially the metonymic cohesion in reference, substitution, omission, repetition, synonym, hyponym, etc. , so as to reveal the metonymic property of the cohesion in English discourse. |
