西域史前文明发展的若干理论问题

本文对涉及西域史前文明发展的理论问题进行了讨论,指出,西域史前文明的发展演变在于不断接受来自于周边地区古代文明中心的影响作用,同时,也受到环境因素的极大制约。它的主要特点表现为农业文化与畜牧业文化的长期共存发展和相互借鉴。草原游牧文化的不断南下和东进,是造成大范围文化传播和人群迁移活动的主要动因,新疆地区则是连接东西方古代文明的桥梁和纽带。

Some Academic Problems on the Progress of Prehistoric Civilization in the Western Regions

This paper discusses several academic problems of the progress of prehistoric civilization in the Western Regions. As we have seen that the development of the prehistoric civilization of the Western Regions was under the influence from the ancient civilization centers in adjacent areas, and also was limited by environmental conditions. Its main characteristics are that agricultural culture and stock raising culture coexisted for a long time and benefited from each other, and it was the movement of steppe nomads from north to south and east that caused cultural exchanges and large-scale tribe group migration in this region while Xinjiang played an important role as a bridge and a link between the ancient civilizations of the west and east.
